Survivor Series came up with a number of dream matchups on the card. The brand vs. brand themed event makes the lineups possible in this special edition of PPV programming. Seth Rollins from WWE Raw was up against Shinsuke Nakamura from Smackdown Live in a champion vs. champion lineup. Two of the mid-card title holders collided against each other.
It was a mouth-watering bout for the pro-wrestling circuit considering their worldwide fame. No doubt that Seth Rollins is the biggest babyface name on the WWE Raw roster. Apart from this, he is the best technical wrestler who is similar to the level of AJ Styles or Shawn Michaels. It’s always good to see him up against anyone who’s well-decorated with hard-hitting maneuvers.
Shinsuke Nakamura is a perfect name into the context for the same reason. He is a legend from Japan whom we also know as the ‘king of strong styles’. These two are under the banner of WWE for the past several years and finally came together for a match in a PPV event. Seth Rollins was the first one to enter the match at Survivor Series.
Shinsuke Nakamura came out representing Smackdown draped up in a blue gear. The crowd gave big reactions as these two shared a stand-off moment. They started the match by sharing wristlocks on each other. Seth Rollins tried to grab with the beginning of a double wristlock. But his opponent sent him into the turnbuckle area to taunt with the ‘come on’ chants.

The Artist increased the gear of the match with some quick moves before Seth Rollins came up with a schoolboy. He taunted Nakamura with his own ‘come on’ chant. Shinsuke Nakamura dodged a Ripcord Knee attempt and bailed outside the ring. The Survivor Series match continued as the Smackdown star came back hitting a big elbow on his opponent at the turnbuckle.
Nakamura delivered a huge kick to the face before hitting the Intercontinental Champion with Good Vibrations. Seth Rollins backfired with a Sling Blade and hit a superkick for a near fall. The US Champ locked in the arm-bar which Rollins countered into a DEADLIFT BUCKLE BOMB! He also delivered a Falcon Arrow for no good. Nakamura went for the Kinshasa that got converted into a Superkick for the win. Team Raw went 2-0 against Smackdown via this win.
