WWE Raw had a bad outing from New York on the bygone edition. The critics and the social media ripped the officials apart for this lacklustre show.
We expect the experience to change starting from tonight. Two big-time matches are official to headline tonight’s episode.
It is a special edition, as WWE dedicated this one for the Memorial Day. The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line. The Architect and The Maharaja will battle over it. The last spot for women’s MITB ladder match will be on the line among seven superstars. The Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia will be the host of it.
Jinder Mahal tried to over-power Roman Reigns with his heel antics for the past couple of weeks. The Big Dog did backfire by targeting his midrib. But, Mahal still stood tall with a steel chair in hand. He decimated not only Reigns but also Seth Rollins. It is why we are getting an impromptu IC title match on WWE Raw.

Mahal is currently in a feud against the franchise player of the company. It is not likely that he will get out of it and pick up the IC title. Rollins has been the strongest IC champion on WWE Raw. He will remain the same way even after the night. Reigns might hand over some assistance to Rollins during this contest. It would ensure Rollins retaining his title.
The women’s roster on WWE Raw is set to make history, again. They are going to compete in the second-ever Gauntlet Match on the show. The winner will receive the last spot on the MITB ladder match. The rules of it are as follows, (courtesy WWE.com)
“The match will start with two Superstars in the ring, and a new Superstar will enter the bout whenever a competitor is defeated. The winner will be the last woman standing after all seven Superstars have entered the fray.”
This Gauntlet match should be the main event of WWE Raw, this week. We expect Sasha Banks to win it, being the experienced player once the chaos concludes. If she fails, then Ruby Riott should get a chance as the dark horse.
The segment between Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley was the worst on last week’s WWE Raw. We expect the creative team will bring some impact to this feud, this week.
Ronda Rousey vowed to rip off Nia Jax’s arm at MITB. We will see if she has some answer to it to take the rivalry forward.
