WrestleMania 37 officially has The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton matchup on the card which is pretty much confirmed at FastLane 2021. As seen in the co-main event of the bygone pay-per-view, Alexa Bliss possibly clinched the biggest victory of her career, when she pinned a 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion in Randy Orton.
Alexa played mind games throughout the match to dominate by throwing fireballs at his opponent or making stuff fall down out of nowhere. Orton even coughed up black liquid before the match began. Then The Fiend Bray Wyatt returned during the match with a new burned look and hit Orton with a Sister Abigail which allowed Alexa to sit on top of Orton and pin him.
This set of incidents have already planted the seeds of Randy Orton vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37 which was then confirmed on Raw. Now, the match outcome has also been hinted at by a source suggesting that the match is going to be extremely one-sided.
According to the Dirty Sheets Patreon page, WWE officials are planning to give The Fiend a squash win over Orton at WrestleMania 37 since this is going to be an in-ring match. This is also going to be the biggest win of Fiend aka Wyatt’s career who would seek payback from the loss at ‘Mania 33.
Fiend vs Randy Orton may continue even after Wrestlemania 37
But the feud won’t end at WrestleMania 37 as WWE has another match planned between these two superstars. Rumors had that these two have been scheduled to compete in a cinematic match that never took place. Now that anticipated match could be stored at Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view in May.
The Fiend Bray Wyatt is dominating this feud in his absence via Alexa Bliss since Orton burnt him down at TLC in December. On this week’s main event segment of Raw, The Viper wanted to end The Fiend once and for all as he summoned the demonic creature.
The Fiend then showed up in the ring as Orton starting pouring gasoline on him. The fiend was just standing still in the ring as Orton was able to nail him with an RKO. Alexa Bliss then distracted Orton when The Fiend got up to his feet to hit him with a Sister Abigail.
Randy Orton was lying down in the ring when Alexa Bliss pointed to the WrestleMania 37 sign to indicate Fiend vs Orton is happening. WWE announcers then officially noted that both the former world champions are set to collide at the Show of Shows.
