WWE intends to make and break records with WrestleMania 37 after having a forced dud edition, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. A two-night event has been planned for April 10th and 11th. The only thing left to do is to fill up those nights with fans and when the company does so, they are bound to shatter some records in numbers.
Previously, the assumption was that WWE might bring a part of WWE Universe to fill in the Raymond James Stadium and the rest of the gallery could be filled with cutouts just like the Superbowl. But Vince McMahon didn’t like the idea who put his own genius mind into the plan. Thus, we would see way more fans at WrestleMania 37 than initial thoughts.
According to Jon Alba, WWE plans to bring 45,000 fans to the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. Thus, it would become the biggest live show post coronavirus pandemic. Tickets for WrestleMania 37 would go on sale next week, with prices ranging from $35 to $2,500. More details regarding the audience may be let known by then.
WWE Lists Top 10 Wrestlemania Main Events Of All-Time
“I can independently confirm reports #WWE is aiming for about 45,000 people per night at Raymond James Stadium for #WrestleMania, which would be by far the largest crowd at a sports or entertainment event in America since the pandemic began,” Alba stated in his report.
NFL was hosted at the same RJ Stadium and they’ve just brought 25,000 fans to the same building for the Super Bowl. So WWE is hell-bent to break that number at WrestleMania 37.
The numbers could have varied depending on the situation while 65,890 is the listed capacity for the RJ Stadium anyway. WWE wants 45000 fans on both nights as they want to cross that 90000 marks to keep as close as possible with the 1 million marks. WWE would also keep the social distance measures to a new level.

Wrestlemania 37 to introduce pod system for sitting
Ticketmaster has revealed some more details about WrestleMania 37 tickets alongside a new official graphic for the event. As per their listing, a pod system will be introduced, so that mass gathering could be avoided.
“Important Information Regarding Upcoming WrestleMania Events
These events use seating in pods of 1 to 6 people per pod. Pods must be purchased in their entirety and may not be divided. Tickets in a pod may not be sold or transferred to anyone other than family/trusted acquaintances who have chosen to attend the event together, unless all such tickets (i.e., the full pod) are being sold or transferred to one party. Unless otherwise exempted by law, guests must wear a face covering – local venue rules apply.”
Rumors also suggest that WWE might also use a similar venue for TakeOver, Raw, or SmackDown purpose during the WrestleMania 37 week with crowds in attendance. But there’s still no confirmation on the same.
