Seth Rollins is a top superstar from the WWE roster who doesn’t have any plan set in stone, heading into Wrestlemania 38. For the first time in his WWE career, the Raw roster member has found himself in such a condition where the company doesn’t have any opponents reserved within his co-workers. They do have something planned for the 2019 Royal Rumble match-winner.

According to the reports of Fightful Select, Cody Rhodes was pitched to be Rollins’ opponent for WrestleMania 38. However, nothing is confirmed regarding this match as the former AEW superstar still considering all his options, at this moment,

“Sources for Fightful Select’s recent Cody Rhodes update indicated Cody was pitched as Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania opponent, but that’s obviously up in the air now.”

Rollins and Kevin Owens were unable to capture the RAW Tag Team titles on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in a Triple Threat featuring Team RK-Bro and Team Alpha Academy. After this, Rollins was spotted in a dazed state who also blacked out all of his social media accounts as his WrestleMania 38 future looks uncertain. This is supposed to be the beginning of a new storyline on the red brand as we expect continuation, next Monday night.

On the road to Wrestlemania 38, Raw will be hosted from AEW’s home on Monday that is from Jacksonville, Florida and this date is being considered as a key date for Rhodes’ possible return to the WWE. Even if he doesn’t return, WWE wants him to let know his decision about the comeback possibly with the next episode of Raw.

Cody does have multiple offers thrown at him but he’s yet to decide on which one he should respond to. The ball is currently in his court as it ultimately depends on what he wants in the end. In case, Cody decides not to make his return to WWE, WWE will have to find a different opponent for Rollins at WrestleMania 38.
