Disassociation with the WWE has certainly not lessened the mainstream popularity of Nikki Bella. The former WWE Superstar has long been absent from TV projects, especially after she departed from the WWE alongside her twin sister Brie Bella. Now, after a significant gap one of them will be seen in public for an annual festival in the first week of July.
As announced this weekend, Nikki Bella will be a participant at the American Cornhole League’s upcoming Johnsonville SuperHole IV. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 7. This league will be a part of next weekend’s annual Summerfest Music Festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. No update is there on whether Brie Bella will also be there in the city to accompany her elder sister.

According to the info released on the league’s website, Nikki Bella will team up with ACL pro, Eri Zocklein, in a prelim matchup against Tyler Hubbard and Dayton Webber. The winner of that matchup will face the winner of the opposite bracket, which features names like former NFL star Spice Adams and current Greenbay Packers RB Aaron Jones. The respective winner will advance to the finals of the tournament set for August 4 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Nikki Bella following former WWE colleague Charlotte Flair in a tournament
Earlier this year, Charlotte Flair took a shot at the ACL but failed. Hence, Nikki Bella becomes the second-only professional wrestler to participate in the league. Flair had previously teamed up with her ACL pro, Bret Guy to pick up a win against the “Real Housewives of Miami” star Marysol Patton and his ACL pro, Whitney Martinez, in a first-round match. In the next round, they came up short against Vinny Guadagnino and his ACL pro, Jeremy Schermerhorn in the final round.
Thus, Guadagnino and Schermerhorn were crowned prelim champions and they’ve already advanced to the Johnsonville SuperHole IV finals on August 4. Time will tell how Nikki Bella and her ACL will perform in the league. This round from Milwaukee will air live on Friday, July 7, on ESPN2 starting at 8 PM EST.
Heading into Wrestlemania 39, Brie and Nikki Bella announced their exit from the WWE back in March. Their contract with the WWE was up in that month and they wanted to have a break from the company’s tie. Since that announcement, they’re respectively going by the name of Brie and Nikki Garcia.
