The Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle has recently revealed his strong feeling about the future of MS Dhoni for the Indian national cricket team.
MS Dhoni, the former Indian World Cup-winning captain, is one of the greatest players with incredible leadership quality. After the semi-final defeat in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 last July, Dhoni hasn’t played a cricket match yet.

Many cricket fans want to watch Dhoni on the cricket field once again. However, there is no clarification about whether he will return to the national team or not.
According to some source reports, including the Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri‘s hint, Dhoni’s international cricket return (especially in the T20I side) will be dependent on his performances in the IPL 2020.
By starting practising for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni also confirmed his presence in the IPL 2020. But due to the novel COVID-19 or coronavirus outbreak, the IPL 2020 has been postponed, and the tournament is under the dark cloud.
I don’t think MS Dhoni would have been looking for the T20 World Cup: Harsha Bhogle
As the future of IPL 2020 is doubtful, Harsha Bhogle feels that Dhoni has already played his last match for India as he is not seeing the chance of Dhoni’s presence in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020.

Bhogle told Cricbuzz, “My gut feel is that his (Dhoni’s) India ambitions might be over. I don’t think Dhoni would have been looking to September-October for the T20 World Cup. Maybe if he just had a great IPL but my gut feel is that was beyond him.”
Australia will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 from 18th October to 15th November.
However, Bhogle also believes that Dhoni desperately wants to perform for CSK. Talking about this, the commentator pointed out Dhoni’s talkative mode in the last IPL tournament.

Bhogle added, “I still do believe so that Dhoni wanted to turn out desperately for CSK. The reason I think so. Last year towards the end of the IPL, towards the end of the league stage I got an opportunity of doing a couple of post-match presentations and there was Dhoni and he wasn’t holding back at the presentations which were normally three-four minutes but this one seven to nine minutes almost and when Dhoni is in that talkative mode we don’t stop him.”
At present, most of the people in India are staying at home as the country is going through the complete lockdown process, like some other countries, to beat coronavirus.
