After losing their last match against Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad is at the sixth position on the points table. It was their third successive loss in the ongoing tournament. Earlier SRH had lost to Kings XI Punjab by five wickets whereas Mumbai Indians had beaten them by 40 runs. Even with David Warner by their side this time, SRH has only won three matches.
Chennai Superkings seems to be on their way to snatch away the title for the fourth time. Up till now, only Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians have been able to seize the match against them by 37 runs. With a total of 14 points, CSK is at the apex of the chart. They have been extremely good with fielding, backing up their bowlers while scoring decent runs. And if they register their 8th win tomorrow, they’d be the first team to enter the playoffs.
However, cricket is a format of wild luck. No matter how many matches SRH had lost, they have some great players to help them outshine CSK at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Here’s the list of top five players to look out for in the match.
Five Players To Keep An Eye On:
David Warner

After a year of the ban, Warner has come back with his remarkable performances throughout the season. Like the Indian gladiator ‘Baahubali’, he scores runs with his impeccable strength building a decent score for the team. He has the capability to mark a win single-handly.
In his first match against KKR, he scored 85 off 53 balls, though Russell’s outstanding performance had kept them away from the win. But if we look at this season’s maximum run-getter batsmen’s list, Warner tops the chart. With 400 runs in 7 matches, Warner sits at the top ladder of the Orange Cap list again for the third time. Earlier in the years 2015 and 2017, he wore the Orange Cap and apart from Chris Gayle, he is the second player to be able to earn the title twice.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni

The skipper-cum-batsman has been in best of form in this season. Whenever he was out on the field, he makes sure to let his fans cheer him louder than the last time. There’s no one like Dhoni when it comes to guiding the team. He’s impeccable as a match finisher and sharp at wicket-keeping. He has scored a total of 230 runs in eight matches so far and was declared ‘Man Of The Match’ for his unbeatable 75 off 43 against Rajasthan Royals(RR).
Deepak Chahar

In the eight matches played this season by CSK, Chahar had scalped 10 wickets for the team. And for his performance in the IPL, he has been among the four Indian pacers to assist the national team in the World Cup 2019. He is one of the important bowlers in the defending champions CSK.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuneshwar is SRH’s go-to bowler throughout the season. He is their trump card for the death overs bowling and has successfully owned the Purple Cap for two successive IPL seasons in 2016 and 2017. Though in the on-going IPL season, Bhuvneshwar has not been able to showcase his magic yet. In the six matches, he had snapped three wickets with 8.82 economy rate. However, he is in the bowling squad of the national team for the World Cup 2019 announced on 15th April.
Imran Tahir

Imran Tahir has woven his magic around the IPL teams easily. He had spun the best of the batsmen like Andre Russell in the previous match trapping the aggressive chasers for just 161/8 in 20 overs. In the match, Tahir scalped four wickets for 27. The 40-year-old South African spinner is second on the list of most wicket takers in the season knocking 13 wickets in eight matches. Popularly known as “parasakthi express” by CSK, on average Tahir had conceded approximately six runs in an over.
