The most compact storyline in today’s WWE is going on Monday Night Raw that would culminate in a match at Wrestlemania between Edge and Randy Orton.

The angle got even more impactful, this week as WWE involved Beth Phoenix into the mix. Edge’s wife was about to give an update on her husband who was interrupted by The Apex Predator of the WWE who would talk garbage to make her emotional.

This ended up Beth Phoenix hitting a slap on Randy Orton into the face. In return, the inevitable happened where Orton hit an RKO on the WWE Hall of Famer.

The general belief is that Edge will be coming back to take revenge on this attack of the Viper on his wife. But WWE is reportedly putting much more twists into the storyline.

WWE To Make Edge Vs. Randy Orton A Gimmick Match At Wrestlemania 36

As reported by Wrestlingnews.co, Beth Phoenix will get revenge on Randy Orton somewhere down the line. WWE is celebrating women month in March which will be suited the entire theme, as well. Thus we can expect something unpredictable, down the road as we head towards Wrestlemania 36. Here’s more from the source,

“I was told that the attack on Phoenix is not a sign that we will see more men attacking women on WWE TV.

If it happens again then it will be saved for big angles such as this one and I’m told that Beth will get her revenge on Randy at some point.”

As for the main storyline between Edge and Randy Orton, they would be facing at the showcase of immortals, indeed in a high stakes match. Apparently, the Rated R Superstar will be putting his body and career on the line in his returning match in the WWE,

“The story idea going into the match is that Edge will be wrestling against doctor’s orders and he is risking paralysis if he steps into the ring with Orton.”

This adds a lot of fuel to the whole angle when it eventually gets executed at Wrestlemania 36. Sympathy towards the 11-time world champion would be a lot bigger whereas Randy Orton would end up being the meanest WWE villain, at this point. Currently, Edge may show up on WWE Raw next week in Washington, DC in a surprising capacity to seek redemption against Orton.
