Some of the WWE Universe members might be worried about Roman Reigns missing out shows, as of late. He lost the WWE TLC PPV match against King Corbin and was not present at the post-event edition of SmackDown.
We have not heard from him either that kept the fans speculating about his status. However, there’s no need to worry as the updated reports confirm that he is still locked in for the WrestleMania 36 main event.

The source mentioned that Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt is the leading candidate to be the main event of WrestleMania. It will also be after a long time that a match from the SmackDown brand will close out the show of shows. It’s definitely not a confirmed matchup, for now as we still have three months for the show’s buildups.
Meanwhile, the source carried a report disclosing the recent absence of Roman Reigns from the WWE programming,
“The report noted that the goal is to get Reigns back into the spot of being the top face of the company. Reigns’ feud with King Baron Corbin was said to be just a placeholder feud, and officials have purposely cooled Reigns off before he gets the bigger push into WrestleMania season.
The reported idea behind cooling The Big Dog off was to reverse some of the negative fan reactions he was getting before he took time off last year for his second battle with leukemia.”

WrestleMania 36 takes place on April 5th, 2020 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. The reports also noted that the creative heads are taking preventive measures so that the card does not get leaked out by any means.
There’s no update on whether Roman Reigns will be in attendance on tonight’s SmackDown. But he will be competing in an undisclosed match at Times Square in New York during the New Year’s Eve celebration.
