Vince McMahon Has Massive Wrestlemania 36 Main Event Plans
As reported by Alex McCarthy of TalkSport.com, a few days ago, Brock Lesnar is gearing up for a unique match at WrestleMania 36. An outsider name beyond the WWE scene will be challenging him on the show for the WWE Championship.
Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury are the duos who are the front-runners to face the behemoth superstar for the most prestigious belt in sports entertainment.
At this point, Tyson Fury is slated to face Deontay Wilder in a boxing match in February. As per the source, Vince McMahon will be closely watching the match as he’d set up the WrestleMania contest of Brock Lesnar based on this match’s outcome.
If Fury remains unbeaten then it’s almost certain that he will get the main event of WrestleMania 36 against Brock Lesnar,
“If Tyson Fury beats Deontay Wilder to become the WBC Heavyweight Champion of the world, the allure of having a Boxing World Champion face Lesnar is expected to be too much for Vince McMahon.”
Originally, Tyson Fury vs. Brock Lesnar was scheduled to take place at Crown Jewel on October 31st. But WWE was able to grab Cain Velasquez under contract and they decided to recreate a bygone feud from UFC.
This ended up bad for the challenger as he lost the bout. But there is still a chance that Velasquez may end up getting to compete at WrestleMania 36.
In a report carried by wwfoldschool.com, Vince McMahon has said to be having a crazy match idea for WrestleMania 36.
Instead of a singles matchup, a triple threat is being planned where Brock Lesnar will take on both r Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury. The source also added the exact reason why this match is being planned,
“The reason behind this triple threat match would be the idea that Vince McMahon would be able to promote “WWE vs. Boxing vs. UFC” for the first time ever.”
When it comes to making main-event matches in WrestleMania, Vince McMahon definitely knows how to produce a money-making match. He can smell money by setting up the lineups.
This particular one has all the tools to garner attention from the audience since all of these three superstars are mainstream attractions in the sports world.
