Brock Lesnar Tattoos: What Do These Paints In His Body Signify ∼ Brock Lesnar is the freakiest athlete of this generation or perhaps of all time. There has not been one instance where a pro-wrestler has become a two-sport champion. It can’t be true since never ever two companies allow to make so happen nor the athletes possess the ability. But the unthinkable can turn out to be a reality, the way he is approaching in his career.

Wrestlemania 33 witnessed the Universal Championship coronation for Brock Lesnar. He dethroned Goldberg to win the prime title of the Raw brand to start a reign that is still continuing. Already he surpassed the record-setter reign of CM Punk of 434 days. We now have a 500-day landmark set up by him that might be unbreakable for the next generation superstars.

WWE has made him look unbeatable over the course of the last couple of years. The Beast has toppled names like Goldberg, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Kane and even Roman Reigns to retain his championship. Domination over the prime names on the WWE Raw roster allowed him to stay away from the scene, as per the wish.

He truly believes that WWE is not the appropriate place for him to reside that comes up with less competition. The fact that the franchise player of the company failed to defeat him boosted his confidence. So Brock Lesnar has been eyeing the UFC Heavyweight Champion in the future. We could very well see him holding the two championships at the same time.

Backstage reports suggest that Vince McMahon is considering the idea. It can earn huge attention from the mainstream media that WWE starves for these days. With that being said, Brock Lesnar is out for a milestone that seemed unbelievable. Only a genetically superior athlete can do it. He is a unique sample that the combat sports industry has ever produced just like Brock Lesnar tattoos.

UFC commentator Joe Regan pronounced the former champion under their banner as a performer with ‘superior genetics’. He brought up the context of a WWE match from Wrestlemania XIX. Brock Lesnar went up against Kurt Angle on that night over the world title. He tried to pull off a Shooting Star Press that is nearly impossible to a heavy athlete like him.

He botched the move expectedly and landed in such a way that the viewers thought he might be dead. Fans can still recall it one of the most shockers to happen in between a TV program. Any other athlete would have suffered death or career-ending injury on the spot but Brock Lesnar right back on his feet. He delivered an F-5 to his opponent right away to end the match. WWE Universe learned out first-hand that The Pain had indeed arrived in the scene.

Brock Lesnar born and grew up in a dairy farm in Webster, South Dakota. No wonder from where he got this freakish strength and muscular body. Brock Lesnar tattoos suited well in the carved physique possessed by him. During his school days, he was a football player and an amateur wrestler. The University of Minnesota offered him a wrestling scholarship back in the days where Shelton Benjamin was his roommate. Later it turned out to be the place where he is billed from.

NCAA(National College Athletic Association) Division I heavyweight wrestling championship win was the first accolade of his career. It happened in the final years of his college days. Just after the completion of the course, he joined Ohio Valley Wrestling. He started training under the brand which had tie-ups with the WWE.

Eventually, it turned out to be the greatest batch ever that produced wrestling legends. Names alongside whom Brock Lesnar used to train are John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, Shelton Benjamin and more. All of them went on to become prime names in the WWE.

All of these names went on to pursue mainstay professional wrestling from 2002 onwards. They all debuted on the main roster on the same year on either Raw or Smackdown. Brock Lesnar received the biggest push amongst them. He captured the WWE Championship defeating The Rock at Summerslam. It happened just four months earlier of his debut making him the youngest champion at that time. This paved the way for an eventual departure for The Great Later, the next year.

WWE management always considered Brock Lesnar as the next big thing. But he was unique all the way and was not happy with his WWE contract. He could not bear with the rigorous schedule that this company offered. So we saw him exiting just after two years of tenure as a WWE superstar.

Being The Conqueror that he is, he wanted to go through all the available sports available. So the NFL was his next destination leaving the WWE. But a motorcycle accident happened in the same year of 2004 when he left the WWE. So it ruined his chances to compete in NFL. It forced the former WWE Champion to pursue wrestling stint.

He took a new challenge and went to Japan. New Japan Pro Wrestling was his next destination in 2005. The company got their top prize and crowned him with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in his first match. The Japan chapter of his life came to an abrupt in the following year. NJPW stripped him of the heavyweight title due to VISA issues.

It was one of the toughest periods of his life creating one of the Brock Lesnar tattoos about which we’d open up, shortly. It was perhaps due to frustration when he decided to leave pro-wrestling. But he competed in a one-off match against Kurt Angle in 2007 before conquering the MMA industry.

Brock Lesnar went on to rewrite the history books of UFC after signing with them. He competed first in a match in 2008 to come up short against Frank Mir. Later, this man became the beast’s victim on UFC 100 main event. The top prize of UFC Heavyweight Championship went under his grabs too alongside a winning streak. He continued his dominance in the UFC until returning to the WWE in 2012.

The company presented as an outsider who was there to win the place. The who’s who names of the WWE became his victim in the last few years including John Cena, Triple H, CM Punk, Goldberg, Big Show and the Undertaker. He won the world title twice during this span. Many believed that it was a clean set up for Roman Reigns to beat him and capture the spotlight. But he has been unable to defeat Brock Lesnar despite getting numerous chances.

What do the Brock Lesnar tattoos on his chest and back signify?

Brock Lesnar tattoos are quite impressive just like his sports career. He shows off a sword in his bare-chest that goes up to his neck. He revealed the meaning of it in his autobiography named Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival in 2011. Check out his comments,

“I felt like life was holding a sword right up against my throat, so I went under the ink gun because I never wanted to forget exactly how I felt at that time. The tattoo on my chest has so much meaning to me. In some ways, it’s funny, because the period of my life that I’m talking about is a time I so want to forget, but I know I can use this memory as motivation.”

As we have mentioned earlier, this one of the Brock Lesnar tattoos is a hint of the tough time that he had in Japan. He was not only dealing with a VISA issue but also with a non-compete clause by WWE. The biggest pro-wrestling promotion in the world still has the same rule for released superstars. It does not allow the concerned name to perform to compete under another banner for a significant period of time.

Vince McMahon was not willing to let him compete at the NJPW promotion back in 2005. No wonder why Brock Lesnar had to leave the company earlier than expected to remove the pain in throat signified by the sword tattoo. Later, artist Jimmy DiResta recreated the Brock Lesnar tattoo for viewing pleasure.

The next Brock Lesnar tattoo is present in his back which portrays a large demonic skull. He did not go on record to reveal why he got this done. But we do believe that signifies his own behemoth persona. His logo from the WWE also contains this huge skull which is indeed a scary one.

Just underneath this Brock Lesnar tattoos, we could spot a ‘Kill ‘Em All’ written on the back. It signifies the very same as above too whereas some do believe it’s a tribute to the Metallica band. This music group’s “Enter Sandman” was his theme song in the UFC. So he might have wanted to pay homage to the band’s first-ever album in 1983 named ‘Kill ‘Em All’.

Currently, the nag of superstars painting their bodies with ink has increased. Brock Lesnar tattoos are the trademarks that might have encouraged his fellow WWE superstars to come up with fresh ideas regarding tattoos. His former rivals like The Undertaker and CM Punk mastered the art of these inks as well.

Some might think that Brock Lesnar tattoos represent the complexity of his life and especially his status as a highly decorated athlete. But the reality is that the beast incarnate leads the simplest life that one could only imagine. He stays at a farm situated in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. A very few know that former WWE superstar Sable is his wife. The couple has two daughters.

Brock Lesnar also admitted the fact of not liking people. The storyline angle from WWE TV that states he simply “doesn’t like people” is true in real-life perspective too. He loves to go hunting in leisure time. Check out his own comments about the extremely private life that he lives in,

“It’s very basic for me. When I go home, I don’t buy into any of the B.S. Like I said, it’s pretty basic: Train, sleep, family, fight. It’s my life. I like it. I was a star at the University of Minnesota. I went on to World Wrestling Entertainment. Wannabe NFL player. And here I am, the UFC heavyweight champion.

I just don’t put myself out there to the fans and prostitute my private life to everybody. In today’s day and age, with the Internet and cameras and cell phones, I just like being old school and living in the woods and living my life. I came from nothing, and at any moment, you can go back to having nothing.”

As you can see, Brock Lesnar cares the least about people or the WWE Universe, at all. This might create hatred towards him around the pro-wrestling circuit. But nobody can take away the tag of being the ‘biggest box-office attraction’ in the entire world. A gifted athlete like him will solidify his legacy to a certain extent that seems untouchable for the next generation.
