Summerslam is less than three weeks away as WWE is going hell-bent to garner as much attention they can arrange for the show. Only a few days ago, the Raw reunion event has brought back a number of legends to the show to make the programming a huge success and fetch attention. Officials are reportedly bringing one more legend back in due course to compete at the upcoming PPV who is none other than Trish Stratus.
As per the reports of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is returning to perform at Summerslam. She is currently in talks to wrestle a singles match at the August 11th pay-per-view event. There is still confusion whom she may wrestle at the show. But if you have followed Smackdown, it may be easy to understand who her opponent is going to be.

Charlotte Flair reportedly gearing up to receive Trish Stratus as her opponent. It will be a dream match by all means where an eight-time women’s champion goes up against a nine-time champion. They’re two of the all-time greats who’d show up to square off against each other to reign supreme on each other.
Charlotte Flair lost a match on Smackdown Live against Ember Moon in just a few seconds. It was a fluke win against Moon that kept her out of the Summerslam PPV. She seemed irate about this in a backstage segment and went for a rant. She demanded to get back in the match card where she will prove why she’s the greatest female Superstar of all-time.

Plus, Charlotte Flair added that she will bring a high-class athlete at Summerslam who’d be a better opponent than Bayley or Ember Moon. The former women’s champion also kept on posting cryptic tweets on her Twitter handle hinting that Trish Stratus is indeed coming back making the rumors look true.
WWE bringing back Trish Stratus will act as a major attraction to the audience of Summerslam. They must be feeling excited to see the greatest Diva of all-time back in the ring. The biggest event of the Summer takes place on August 11th in Trish’s hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Scotiabank Arena. It is perhaps the biggest reason why legendary female wrestler will lace up the boots again.
