Mandy Rose was originally hoping to go through a memorable night during this past edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX. He shared a backstage moment with on-screen beau, Otis, and even planted a kiss on his cheek before going into the ring for her Money In The Bank Qualifying Match against Carmella.

She was in full control of the match indicating that it was only a matter of time that she picks up the win.

But she ended up losing the match due to a distraction courtesy of her former tag team partner, Sonya Deville. Once the match was over, a vicious post-match beatdown was reserved for Mandy Rose which witnessed Deville snapping on her.

As seen on SmackDown, the officials, Dolph Ziggler and Otis were concerned about Mandy Rose and her health. Following SmackDown, The Golden Goddess gave updates on the same posting a picture of her bruised leg. She called Deville a ‘jealous bi–h’ who would be paying for her sins. In reply, Deville addressed Mandy Rose as a barbie doll and said they’d be having fun in this feud.

It seems that WWE is building up the rivalry to quite a personal level which could be culminated in a big way. There’s no word yet on when Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville singles contest will take place. The assumption was that WWE might host a mixed tag team match at Money In The Bank 2020 also featuring Otis and Ziggler.

But Otis is now booked to compete at Men’s division Money In The Bank ladder match and hence this match wouldn’t be happening on May 10.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Mandy Rose revealed that it was an unscripted segment aired after WrestleMania 36,

“That was just us, off-script, being ourselves. I was shocked it got so many views. We’re really thankful that people are enjoying this. This was something we thought was really funny, and we both thought it could be a great story.

Though I never thought it would resonate with people this much. But it’s relatable, and it’s really cool that we’ve been able to involve so many people.”
