Coming out of retirement does not happen very often in the pro-wrestling circle. It is a physical sport that has a definitive retirement age that mostly falls around 45. However, there are certain exceptions like The Undertaker, Goldberg or Triple H. Event Ric Fair wrestled after the 50s before he retired at Wrestlemania 24.

But he may just want to make a comeback for one particular match against Roman Reigns as revealed in an interview with Wrestling Travel. Ric Flair talked about a number of topics including his version of the Mount Rushmore of wrestling alongside the potential name that he is willing to take on after coming back from retirement.

The 16-time world champion wants to face none other than the franchise player of the WWE, Roman Reigns. He would love to lace up his wrestling boots again in case WWE arranges the Big Dog against him. However, he also joked that WWE may not afford his presence at this point.

There’s no way that WWE is ever going to clear him for wrestling, ever again. He has gone through a number of health-scares in the recent memory that forced him to undergo surgeries. So no company would ever allow him to wrestle against anyone, anyway.

Going forward, Ric Flair also commented in the Mount Rushmore of pro-wrestling world. He obviously has his own name kept in the top-most of the list that also featured The Undertaker, Stone Cold, and Hulk Hoga. Among all them, Flair chose The Undertaker as the greatest of all-time. This is the man that has still made himself active even after the 50s have passed by.

But I actually think The Undertaker has had as big a run and as big an impact on the business. without having to be champion and just being the character.”

“No. 1 he’s a great guy. No. 2 it’s the most unique and greatest gimmick in the history of our business. He’s got sick of it a couple of times and changed it around. But at the end of the day, whether it’s riding a motorcycle or getting out of a coffin, it’s the greatest gimmick I’ve ever seen.”
