At Extreme Rules, Sasha Banks and Bayley will have the chance to continue their reign of terror as champions. While Banks goes after Asuka’s RAW Women’s Championship, Bayley defends her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross. Since these two already are women’s tag team champions, they both get a chance to become dual champions on the same night that sounds pretty interesting.

However, in reality, chances are pretty low that The Legit Boss ends up winning the Raw Women’s Championship from Asuka. As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for Asuka vs Sasha Banks at WWE Extreme Rules have been revealed.

Despite the class heel act from the challenger that can be compared with a veteran like Randy Orton from the male roster, she’s not the favorite to go past the reigning champion. Perhaps the cross-brand affair could be one of the reasons.

In terms of odds, Asuka is the clear favorite to retain the prime gold of the Raw Women’s Division at 2/5 whereas Sasha Banks is the 7/4 underdog.

It should be noted that Sasha is from SmackDown brand anyway who doesn’t need the title necessarily although the idea of Sasha and Bayley both capturing all the four golds at the same time, sounds pretty intriguing. But going by the future plans for these two, a championship change needn’t happen.

Sasha Banks is bound to face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, at one point. It is inevitable since both of them were put together on the blue brand for a future program. The Wrestling Observer previously noted that WWE chose Banks as Asuka’s challenger as they needed a top star to face the champion at Extreme Rules. In the absence of Charlotte Flair, they didn’t have many choices left.

Thus, Sasha Banks was sent back to Raw who has also performed on NXT shows in recent times, as well. The current women’s tag team champion has noted on working all the three shows while speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and stated the following,

“I used to wrestle five days a week. It’s nothing new. Working three times a week is easy for me. If I need to work Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, then that’s what I’m going to do.”
