As reported earlier, The Undertaker will be seen making his return to in-ring competition at next month’s Saudi Arabia pay-per-view. It was previously scheduled to take place on February 20 but was postponed seven days later. No update is available regarding his potential opponent in the next bout. But it’s always been good to have him back around the WrestleMania season.
Latest Update On Edge Entering The 2020 WWE Royal Rumble Match
However, additional reports have once again confirmed that just like last year, The Undertaker will not compete at WrestleMania 36. He is currently NOT scheduled to work at the ‘show of shows’. So unless the plans change, it is certain that The Phenome will miss his show for the second year in a row. This could be considered as disappointing news for the ‘Taker fans.

Revealed: The Undertaker’s First WWE Appearance In 2020
Another WWF Veteran that will most likely miss WrestleMania 36 is Jeff Hardy. The former tag champ is currently out of action due to an injury that occurred just after WrestleMania 35. Apart from the injury, Jeff is also dealing with legal issues as he was arrested last year for DUI charges.
Matt Hardy Teases Leaving WWE After Loss On This Week’s Raw
At this point, WWE has no plans to bring him back on TV, at all. They want Jeff Hardy to address his health and deal with the legal issues that are the fallouts after the arrest. Only then, they’ll think about his comeback. WrestleMania 36 is likely to pass by when he will be done with the issues.
According to the reports of PWInsider.com, Jeff’s next court date regarding his DUI arrest is April 6th. This is just one day after WrestleMania 36 which means Jeff’s name won’t be considered for any future storylines. Even if he gets cleared to make an in-ring return before the show of shows, WWE won’t take him under consideration.
It was earlier noted that Jeff’s elder brother Matt Hardy has also been suffering a major backstage issue, as of late. The creative team has not utilized the veteran superstar and forced him to compete in some squash matches.
It is being discussed that WWE may be punishing Matt just because Jeff Hardy is not available. While Matt Hardy can leave the WWE on March 1st, Jeff won’t be able to do so as the company would add dates to his contract.
