Update On What Rob Gronkowski Will Be Doing At WWE Wrestlemania 36

WWE previously announced Rob Gronkowski as the host of this year’s WrestleMania that was originally scheduled to take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Later, it was canceled amid Coronavirus outbreak but the show will still air in the same schedule from the empty performance center. The latest reports suggest the host got involved beyond his wrestling duties at the show tapings, last week.

Will WWE Crown A New Women’s Champion At Wrestlemania 36?

Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that Rob Gronkowski ended up doing things that many have not expected him to do, at all. It should be noted that WWE did announce his role for the showcase of immortals’ 36th edition, this weekend but there’s not much being said in this regard or what went down at the actual tapings.

The filming process has gone down this past Wednesday and Thursday nights at the PC and will air on the WWE Network, this weekend.

Rob Gronkowski will be hosting both the nights of WrestleMania but of this report is true then he might have got physical with another superstar during the show.

It’s expected as he already featured in physical capacity in 2017 when he helped his buddy Mojo Rawley to win the 4th Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33. There’s no update available on which match he might make his presence felt.

WWE Raw Superstar Removed From Wrestlemania Due To Rey Mysterio

It was reported back in March that the three-time NFL Super Bowl champion might have signed a deal with WWE. The update was that he would be appearing at WrestleMania 36 to kick-start a feud that would lead to his first match with the company.

The primary belief is the New England Patriots tight-end will wrestle at SummerSlam in August, which takes place in Boston, Massachusettes. It would be fitting because Gronkowski has a history with the city as he made his NFL career with the Patriots.

Triple H recently spoke with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani to discuss Rob Gronkowski becoming a WWE Superstar and his role as the host of WrestleMania 36. He admitted that Gronk ended up doing some really cool stuff at the biggest event of the year,

“I think we’re all just living in Gronk’s world sometimes when I am around him. I think he’s going to do some really cool stuff that people will be shocked when he actually does. I think that the event itself will be spectacular while obviously not in a stadium with 70-80 thousand people. It looks spectacular, the look and the feel will be phenomenal.

Talent really stepped up to bring the energy and the excitement knowing how important this was. A lot of things will take place both live and taped, but that will be taking place from alternative locations.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
