Back in the spring of this year, WWE Universe got the shocking news that Nikki Bella was taking retirement from in-ring competition. Her sister Brie Bella has already stepped away from the business since she wanted to become a mother for a second time. Her elder also decided to take the same route following Evolution PPV event.

The breaking news came via an episode of Total Bellas where Nikki Bella found it hard to cope up with her wrestling and business schedule. Also, the age of 35 felt too much for her as she was putting a lot of pressures to her injured body, lately. So the decision had to come, sooner or later.

Now, The Bella Twins were guests during this week’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, promoting the Bellas Podcast. Nikki Bella shed some lights on her sudden retirement from the squared circle. She went on to reveal that her physical conditions did not let her make the comeback. Also, there are no chances for her to compete ever inside that wrestling ring.
The multi-time Women’s Champion, Nikki Bella wanted to make a return competing for the women’s tag team titles after Evolution. She had to go through medical procedures to get clearance from the doctors when they detected her with a herniated disk on the neck. Plus, she also grew a cyst on her brain that sealed her career, effective, immediately. Here’re her statements from the show, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
“I’ve always had my neck issues and after neck surgery, it hasn’t been OK. I feel like I needed to get a checkup before we went back for the tag titles. The results came back and I herniated the disc above where I had surgery, I have all this inflammation around the metal and then I have a cyst on my brain. So they were like, ‘you’re done, no more.’ So I didn’t get a choice, which sucks.”
So Nikki Bella has confirmed she has a cyst on her brain and has herniated another disc. She announced she is done with in-ring competition.

Nikki Bella has to transform into a part-time wrestler ever since breaking her neck, four years ago. That was a blessing in disguise since she focused on growing clothing line named BirdieBee and a Wine Brand named Belle Radici. Additionally, they also earned their spin-off Total Divas TV show named Total Bellas which will soon make a comeback with the fifth season.
