A fresh championship match has been announced for next week’s episode of WWE Raw for the United States Title. The reigning champion Bobby Lashley will put his gold on the line against Seth “Freakin’” Rollins in a battle between two of the top superstars of the red brand.
Originally involved in a feud against Matt Riddle on WWE Raw, Rollins ran into Lashley backstage during last night’s episode and claimed himself to be “the face of Monday Night ‘Raw.'” Lashley jabbed him back by saying that it’s “he who has the gold and is the face of Monday Night Raw.'”

Rollins fired back by saying that while Lashley’s title wasn’t exactly in his mind but he wouldn’t mind going after gold. He “would gladly take [it] off [his] shoulders” before putting up the challenge that Lashley accepted, gladly. After this segment, the match was set up for next week’s WWE Raw.
Lashley won the United States Championship for the third time in his career after he defeated Theory at Money in the Bank on July 2nd. Since then, Lashley has promised to be a string champion and hence defended the title against various superstars on WWE Raw, including Ciampa, AJ Styles, and then The Miz inside a Steel Cage, last week.

Mr. Money in the Bank to be in action on WWE Raw
In another match announced for WWE Raw, Mr. Money in the Bank Austin Theory will compete against Kevin Owens in a singles contest, next week. Theory cut a promo after attacking Johnny Gargano following his win over Chad Gable.
Theory claimed in a promo that Gargano is at the bottom of the food chain. Kevin Owens interrupted and Theory addressed him as an idiot. Theory said he’s sick of his moments while Owens noted how he doesn’t have any quality to be the future of the WWE.
Theory mentioned himself as the youngest MITB winner in history and also took some more jabs on Owens, leading to a brawl between the two on WWE Raw. The two traded punches before WWE officials arrived at the scene to break things up. Theory was busted open from the brawl. After the segment finished, KO versus Austin Theory was officially announced for the September 19 episode of the red brand.
