This week marks the final TV episodes before WWE presents Money In The Bank pay-per-view on the WWE Network this upcoming Sunday night. To provide the final hypes for the PPV event, WWE Raw will have a stacked card where multiple matches have been announced. Plus, one surprising return is also expected to change the MITB ladder match complexion.

Former Champion Stirs Racism Controversy Within The WWE

The WWE Champion will be in action in the main event of the night. The tag team champions will also be seen in a non-title affair against the Viking Raiders. Also, a Last Chance Gauntlet match will go down to declare the last spot in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match when WWE Raw airs from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is on his course to defend his title for the second time at the Money In The Bank PPV against the veteran Seth Rollins who claims to be the savior of Raw. Hence, he needs to win the gold to solidify himself as the true champion.

But McIntyre gave a strong message last week forcing him to stay back while planting Rollins’ disciple Murphy with a Claymore Kick. Tonight, Murphy gets a chance to redemption when he faces McIntyre in a singles contest whereas the champ will be in no mood to step back in a time when he is looking stronger than ever.

WWE Raw Preview (04/05/20): Drew McIntyre-Murphy; Money In The Bank Go-Home Show 2

Last week on WWE Raw, Apollo Crews suffered a leg injury during the United States Title Match against Andrade. Despite his efforts, Crews was unable to finish the match. Later, WWE.com announced that he was forced to withdraw from the opportunistic MITB Ladder Match.

Consequence wise, the Last Chance Gauntlet Match was also announced which will declare the sixth and final participant of Money In The Bank ladder match.

Major spoilers are now available on this matchup on WWE Raw. As first reported by John Pollock of POST Wrestling, former WWE Champion AJ Styles could be returning to this capacity.

Reason Revealed Why Kevin Owens Is Absent From WWE After Wrestlemania 36

He would eventually end up being the final competitor of the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. It would be the first appearance for the Phenomenal One since the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.

WWE Raw Preview (04/05/20): Drew McIntyre-Murphy; Money In The Bank Go-Home Show 3

WWE Raw tag team champions, The Street Profits – Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford were already scheduled to face Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders, as announced, last week. This one was supposed to be a title match but WWE.com updated the lineup making this one a non-title affair,

“The Viking Raiders said they want the smoke. They’ll get it this Monday on Raw when they face Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits.

Erik & Ivar have been quick to point out that Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins have yet to defeat them, which set off the champions, leading them to accept The Viking Raiders’ challenge.

Who will emerge victorious in this battle between two of the red brand’s hottest teams?”

Chances are high that the challengers will eventually prevail on WWE Raw keeping their victory streak intact over the Profits. This would smoothen the way to push back the tag team title match to the Money In The Bank, card.

Another tag team match is set for WWE Raw, this week where a brand new team will make their presence felt on the show. It seems that MVP has become the new manager for the young duo, Brendan Vink, and Shane Thorne from NXT who challenged Ricochet and Cedric Alexander in a match. It was quickly accepted making the match confirmed for tonight where a lot of high-flying actions are expected.

Also, the three Money In The Bank competitors from the female roster of WWE RAW will be trying to gain momentums, as much as possible. Nia Jax stood tall, last week putting away Asuka and Shayna Baszler. The latter duo will try to make a comeback en route to the lifetime opportunity waiting on May 10 night.
