Following WWE TLC, the storylines will begin towards the Royal Rumble 2020 event which will also kick things off for Wrestlemania 36 season.
But WWE is not likely to put full efforts to create hypes from now on as they would probably wait The New Year to begin. In this situation, WWE Raw will be airing tonight with the post-TLC edition which will also be the final live edition of 2019 as well as this decade.
The headliner match of WWE Raw will feature AJ Styles going up against Randy Orton in a huge matchup. We will also learn the next steps of the new heel faction on the show featuring Seth Rollins and AOP.
A new association may get started with Zelina Vega and Humberto Carrillo. Also, there would be fallouts from TLC PPV when WWE Raw airs from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
The main event of WWE TLC will have AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton battling it out after weeks of altercations in the recent past. The match was originally supposed to go down this past Sunday night. But WWE decided to hold this off for the next night.
Randy Orton and AJ Styles have been hammering at each other for several weeks now. It started with Orton preventing Styles from winning his WWE United States Title back from Rey Mysterio.
Orton then defeated Styles at the 2019 WWE Starrcade live event, in a non-televised match. Last week, Orton cost another title opportunity to Styles by interfering which should keep the bad blood ongoing as these two clashes in a mage bout on WWE Raw.
Last week’s episode of WWE Raw also witnessed a massive heel-turn where Seth Rollins joined AOP to form a faction. They injured Kevin Owens in such a way that he ended up landing into a local medical facility.
Moving forward, we expect the new group to target new names to showcase their dominance. It will also be interesting to see whether Kevin Owens will be kept off TV due to storyline injury.
At the WWE TLC kick-off show, Humberto Carrillo defeated Andrade with indirect assistance via Zelina Vega, again. No doubt, El-Idolo will be irate on this outcome which should be bringing an end to the association with his manager.
This may allow WWE to use Vega as the manager of Carrillo instead, who has language problems but the creative team does think that he has a bright future. So getting the young guy attached to Vega may work positively for him.
Rusev and Bobby Lashley competed in a Tables Match at WWE TLC which ended in a predicted way. Lana distracted her ex-husband allowing Lashley to pick up the easy win by planting Rusev through a table.
Lana claimed that the feud is over as there won’t be any more Rusev Day chants on WWE Raw. However, that may not be the case as WWE plans to do a blow-off match between these two in due course.
A new rivalry has started at WWE TLC that should continue around the WWE Raw tag team championship picture. The OCs had a failed attempt to win the titles that led to the disqualification of the matchup. This indicates Gallows and Anderson will continue their hunt for the golds from the Viking Raiders.
