WWE Raw women’s championship match at Extreme Rules ended in utter controversy where we may or may not receive a new champion. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, rushed into the ring while Asuka had Banks tapping out in the Asuka Lock. She donned the referee’s shirt and counted the three count for Banks to hand over a pinfall win to her bestie.

While Bayley declared Sasha Banks as the new WWE Raw women’s champion, WWE.com still has listed Asuka as the reigning champion. In the meantime, The Golden Role Models have claimed to throw an explanation on everything when they celebrate on RAW about their victory and why they ran away with Asuka’s title.

Controversies around WWE Raw title picture continued as MVP claimed to become the new United States Champion at Extreme Rules. WWE announced during the show that MVP vs. Crews for the title would not take place due to a back injury to Crews. Thus, MVP claimed to become a new champion by forfeit but WWE still doesn’t have him listed as the new champion. Did he actually become the champion? We’ll find out on tonight’s episode.

Also, Extreme Rules pay-per-view saw Seth Rollins defeat Mysterio in the Eye for an Eye match. He injured Mysterio’s one of the eyes by thrashing it into the steel ring steps which was the only way to win the match. WWE issued an injury update on the Master of 619 as we now expect to learn on WWE Raw whether his career is over or not.
