WWE has also declared the rules of 2019 Draft that have similarities from the 2016 installment. You may have a look at the rules, (courtesy WWE.com)
• Over 70 Superstars, as well as tag teams, are eligible for selection in this year’s WWE Draft
• SmackDown will draft 30 Superstars, and Raw will select another 41 Superstars
• Since SmackDown is a two-hour show and Raw is a three-hour show, for every two picks SmackDown makes, Raw will receive three
• Tag teams will count as one pick unless FOX or USA Network specifically wants to pick only one Superstar from the team
• Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing
Since SmackDown on FOX is going to be the A-show of the WWE from now onwards, chances are high that most of the prime names from WWE Raw may get imported to the blue brand. Names like Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, The Fiend and more are under speculation to change the flagship show and enter Friday nights.
WrestleVotes came up with an interesting update stating that Raw’s executive director Paul Heyman is high on Aleister Black on the flagship show. FOX officials, on the other hand, want to retain Roman Reigns, The Fiend, Charlotte Flair on SmackDown to get more attention through these names. As of now, WWE is trying to be as much as tight-lipped before bringing in the big surprise on the show.

The opening contest of SmackDown is also official in the form of Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. Reigns will be representing the blue brand whereas Rollins will be competing on behalf of Team Red. The victorious Superstar will earn the first overall pick for the corresponding brand that is set to give a fitting start to this monumental episode of SmackDown.
