courtesy WWE

The biggest event of the summer, Summerslam is almost here with its 32nd edition which will be an extravaganza, so to speak. WWE has built up a stacked match card that has all the tools to steal the show. Numerous championship matches. Returns from Hall of Famers and more will be there to attract the audience. Plus, there could be some impromptu matches to bring out the unpredictability of the event.

WWE To Add Three Huge Matches At Summerslam Match Card

Brock Lesnar will headline the show for the sixth straight year setting an all-time for Summerslam. He will put Universal title on the line where Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE title. Both the women’s champions from Raw and Smackdown will also defend their championships on the show. Plus, legendary names Goldberg and Trish Stratus will be in action on this special night. Check out the match card alongside potential winners for the grand PPV show set to happen at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens
Owens will quit WWE if he loses.

Both WWE Raw and Smackdown audience was unhappy seeing Shane McMahon consuming TV time from the younger talents. He was trying to steal the spotlight from other superstars that were not good, at all for the future. This led Kevin Owens to build a protest against the ongoing norm and become a natural babyface. He got even more cheers from the audience by using Stunners as the finisher. This is slowly making him a counterpart of Stone Cold Steve Austin who needs a huge win to solidify his position. Hence, we predict him as the winner of this must-win situation at Summerslam.

Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor

The Fiend version of Bray Wyatt returns to in-ring competition much like six years ago when his actual debut happened at Summerslam. On that night, Demon Kane put him over digesting a loss. As for this comeback, WWE has fed Finn Balor to him who is getting ready to suffer another squash loss. Following this, Balor is likely to take a hiatus from TV to recharge his batteries whereas Wyatt will show his dominant side on the WWE roster.

Huge Shocker Planned For Goldberg At Summerslam

Dolph Ziggler vs. Bill Goldberg

Goldberg coming back to the in-ring competition is receiving mixed reaction from the audience. His last match at WWE Super ShowDown was a botch-feast that forced the fans to pledge about his retirement. On this outing at Summerslam, he is out to prove every one of them wrong. So we guess WWE will allow him to earn back the ruthless image. Ziggler will show resistance but will fall short against The Myth who will pick up the win and get himself ready for the next Saudi Arabia show.

Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

Summerslam could not be merrier for the Toronto crowd as their hometown girl is coming back to action. Legendary Trish Stratus competes against Charlotte in a match billed as a battle between two of the very bests of their respective generations. This kind of ‘passing the torch’ matches ends up in favor of the new generation star who starts building her own legacy using the win over her predecessor. We should receive a similar outcome in this match where Trish would digest a loss against The Queen in mega warfare to put her over.

WWE United States Title Match
Ricochet vs. AJ Styles (c)

The two high-flyers can undoubtedly deliver the show-stealer of Summerslam 2019 as the US title hangs in the balance. But the challenger Ricochet’s elbow infection can prohibit him to go to the maximum extent. Even he is out of the injury proportion, it is not likely that he gains back the United States title, at all. At present, AJ Styles is the top heel of Monday Night Raw reuniting with Gallows-Anderson and forming the OC. There’s no way that WWE is pulling an end to his momentums until he lands on the title picture.

Smackdown Women’s Title Match
Ember Moon vs. Bayley (c)

This matchup at Summerslam did not receive the needed buildup for the past few weeks. So the fighting caliber of the two competitors is the only way that can save the culmination of the lackluster feud. The challenger, Ember Moon does not have any momentums on her side that does not make her the favorite to win the match. So, the champion, Bayley will retain the title for three consecutive PPVs.

Submission Match for the RAW Women’s Title
Natalya vs. Becky Lynch (c)

Natalya will enter a hostile territory even is Summerslam happens from in front of her home audience in Canada as The Man is her opponent. Both these superstars are famous for their submission maneuvers that make this match a must-see on the card. A back and forth ongoing will ensue chaos during the match until and unless one of them taps out. Natalya is going to be the one since she is working as a ‘jobber’ to put Becky Lynch over. So the current Raw women’s champion will walk out of the show with the title around her waist.

WWE Title Match
Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston (c)

WWE taking us back to the last decade by setting up this rivalry at Summerslam. Orton and Kingston have enough bad blood between themselves that is producing this matchup, tomorrow night. There’s one more reason why these two did not share the ring in the past few weeks as WWE plans to stretch the feud for weeks to come producing more matches out of them. So an abrupt championship change is not happening at this point. Rather, Kofi will retain leaving massive fallouts to continue the storyline on Smackdown.

WWE Universal Title Match
Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

Seth Rollins is nowhere near 100 percent heading into the main event of Summerslam. The beatdown that he received in the hands of the beast incarnate was insane that left in a pile of flesh and blood. We wonder how he is even going to compete in a title match just days after that relentless ambush. But the speculations suggest that somehow Rollins will pull off the shocker to become the new champion as Lesnar will move to Smackdown during 2019 fall. So we predict WWE Universe will return home from the show on a happy note as the prime babyface becomes the Beast-slayer yet again.
