Otis has won Money In The Bank briefcase on May 10 that may have become a career-altering event for him. He is no longer paired with Tucker for the tag team Heavy Machinery. These two still have some brotherly love intact for each other, but Otis is on his own on the SmackDown roster who is eyeing to become a future Universal Champion. This would happen through quite a big push in WWE.

Ringsidenews.com has reported that “Otis is long term” plan when it comes to getting a push with his Money In The Bank briefcase. The MITB win was just the start of things for him as it seems like Gerald Briscoe has helped to recruit another top Superstar in WWE.
Like a true Mr. Money In The Bank, Otis has to be a top future superstar as well as a future world champion, in the making since none other than The Boss is backing him up.
It was noted that the WWE push of Otis will 100% happen courtesy of Vince McMahon. As exclusively reported by the source, McMahon is the driving force behind Otis’ sudden rise on the SmackDown roster. WWE released the writer who was responsible for setting up the Mandy Rose-Otis storyline through WrestleMania 36. Following her departure, new twists have arrived in the angle which would see Otis moving into the top tier of superstars in the following weeks.
There’s an added reason why WWE might stress on Otis having a title run as the other Money In The Bank winner Asuka didn’t have to cash-in her contract to become a champion.
Now Otis is the only Superstar with a Money In The Bank briefcase in his possession. While WWE may take some time to build up Otis as a main-eventer, he said that he’d like to cash in his briefcase sooner than later.
While appearing on WWE’s The Bump, Otis was asked how long he plans to keep the Money In The Bank briefcase around himself before cashing it in big-time. He was pretty clear being an impatient person who may not want to wait even if the champion sees him coming,
“There’s nothing to bask in, baby. With my personality the sooner the better and this bad boy in my mentality I don’t know when, but sooner or later this bad boy’s getting cashed in.
I don’t care if my opponent sees me coming, or sees me from the side, or coming in from behind — which is something I never do and I’m gonna keep coming because this (the MITB briefcase) is what makes life better for your situation, for your career.
The minute we cash this in I don’t know when I haven’t decided. My brain just does this, it’s just like whatever comes next, babe. I’m gonna say sooner than later.” (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
