Even when she was with the WWE, Saraya fka Paige’s in-ring return was a major discussing point for the pro-wrestling circuit. Now that she’s with the AEW promotion and she’s been physical, it’s certain that we should see the pioneer female wrestler in action, someday. This week, Saraya and Dr. Britt Baker were supposed to have a one-on-one sit-down interview with Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young in WWE). The former WWE Divas Champion did appear for the interview with one of her besties while the former AEW Women’s Champion decided to skip the session without showing any reason.

During the conversation with Renee, Saraya took a shot at Baker by mentioning that she never cared about the AEW women’s division but rather herself. The former Paige then recalled her journey as a wrestler, which she started when she was yet to become an adult.
There was a day when she wrestled the same day when she was hit by a car. The UK native wrestler also noted that AEW has been like a rebel promotion and that she wanted to be a part of it for a long time.

Renee Paquette then asked Saraya to talk about the elephant in the room, which was the latter’s status as an in-ring competitor. In reply, the youngest WWE Divas Champion said that she would make a big revelation regarding this, next week as she would have one more doctor to consult to.
Fans are well aware of the former Paige’s premature retirement from competition in 2018 due to a neck injury suffered in December 2017. Recent reports claimed that she has recently been medically cleared by AEW’s Head Doctor, Dr. Michael J. Sampson. However, from AEW or Saraya’s part, we are yet to receive any sort of confirmation.
There is speculation that AEW will eventually book Saraya for her in-ring return at AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV event set for November 13 against Britt Baker. Following her stunning debut last September, the anti-diva has been involved in a feud with Baker. The animosity between these two even saw them going physical on the October 5 episode of Dynamite.
