But the winners couldn’t enjoy their victory as Swerve Strickland and the rest of the Mogul Embassy surrounded Cassidy and Allin. As a result of what transpired on AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy will defend his International Championship against Swerve Strickland, next week on Dynamite. For months now, the “Freshly Squeezed” AEW wrestler had proven his worth to be the most daring champion of the locker room.
In the latest instance, Cassidy didn’t fear putting his title on the line in a match against twenty AEW wrestlers. He overcame all the odds in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal at Double or Nothing 2023 to retain his championship.

Sting’s AEW Dynamite return could mark his final stint
As for Sting, the legendary name had not wrestled on AEW Dynamite since March. In his last match, Sting teamed with Allin and Cassidy to defeat The Butcher, The Blade, and Kip Sabian in a six-man tag match.
Following the win over Gates of Agony, Cassidy and Allin are likely to be the new contenders for the ROH Six Man Tag Team Titles. Now that Sting has returned and he also shares a history with the team, there are chances that the WCW icon will be competing for the tag titles, down the road.
As Sting returned on AEW Dynamite, many have the belief that this could turn out to be the final stint of his career. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion himself admitted that as the conclusion of his career draws near, he hopes that Darby Allin should be involved in his final in-ring tenure in some fashion.
