The next AEW World Title match will take place on AEW Rampage during next week’s episode on the TBS Network. This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite opened up with a first-time-ever one-on-one bout between Adam Cole and Christian Cage. Cole became the winner in the final moments of the bout using the final boom running knee for the pinfall.

After the match was over, a brawl broke out featuring the AEW Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus and reDRagon, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. The two factions fought it out all over the venue as Adam Cole was left alone in the ring. At this point, AEW World Heavyweight Champion, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page made his entry on AEW Dynamite to confront Cole.

Cole revealed that he has no intentions of fighting ‘Hangman’ until the World Title would be on the line. The former NXT Superstar believed that he earned the rights to get a title match after which Page accepted the challenge without any hesitation. Page also noted how it won’t be a traditional singles match this time.

Thus, the two men will compete in an AEW World Title Match on April 15, 2022, during a live episode of AEW Rampage. The episode is scheduled to go down from Texas and hence the stipulation that Hangman chose was a Texas Deathmatch.
