Aliyah has been with the WWE since 2015 but she mostly was noticed by the WWE fans in recent times. The young superstar was used on NXT television for the past couple of years where she made the first impression. Afterward, she was called to the main roster to gain some attention in the mainstay league. She wants to receive some mainstream attention, as well in the near future.
For those who don’t know, Aliyah originally belongs to the Saudi Arabia country but she’s a resident of the United States. Now, since WWE is having a partnership with the Saudi Sports Authority for a decade starting from 2018, she can definitely hope to participate in an event held in her motherland.

The Smackdown Superstar recently sat down with Denise Salcedo to discuss her excitement as she was heading into her first Royal Rumble match. During the conversation, she also expressed her goals which extend beyond The Rumble. Aliyah stated that her goal for 2022 remains hopes to become the first-ever Arab female superstar to perform in the Middle East.
“We’re heading to Saudi for Elimination Chamber, and no matches have really been announced. It would be an honor to be the first-ever Arab female superstar to perform in the Middle East. That’s always been a huge goal of mine.” (courtesy Wrestling INC)

Aliyah originally belongs to Saudi Arabia
WWE has officially announced Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia for February but they’re yet to confirm any Women’s Division match for the show except for the Raw Women’s Title match. Since they generally choose home-country superstars for these kinds of shows, Aliyah can definitely expect to get added to the card given that she’s now on the main roster.
Plus, Aliyah is making a splash, as of late on the Smackdown locker room. On the January 14 episode of the show, she defeated Natalya in a match within just 3.18 seconds to create an all-time record. Thus, she toppled WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus’s earlier record of winning a match within just 3.17 seconds.
It was apparently a way to get some recognition to Aliyah’s name as she defeated the Guinness book record-holder in record time. Hopefully, this accolade will help her to move forward in her career and achieve something more.
