Without a doubt, Brock Lesnar is the alpha male of the current WWE roster. But given his irregular schedule in the company, there’s one Roman Reigns who’s in charge of being the face of the brand. Quite obviously, these two are the biggest money-makers of the current WWE roster, as well.
Given WWE’s recent earnings, the assumption is that WWE could have easily produced more than just a couple of superstars with multi-million paycheck by their name. Instead, they have only a couple of names in Reigns and Brock Lesnar. This is yet another proof that the company likes to neglect a bunch of superstars except for the absolute bigger star powers.
Brock Lesnar Possibly Performing In A Big Match At WWE Royal Rumble 2022

Dave Meltzer discussed this topic on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. He said with the kind of revenues WWE brings in, there should be several millionaires on the roster. Instead, they only have one Tribal Chief and one Brock Lesnar on this list. The rest of the roster members are underpaid compared to the value they generate on behalf of the brand.

Brock Lesnar is the highest-paid WWE Superstar
“These guys, your average guy on the roster — realistically — your average guy on the roster should be making in the range of $5 million — and there are guys who make $5 million there, but you can count them on one hand,” the source noted.
“You know your Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar — maybe you can count them on two fingers. I don’t think there’s anyone else making $5 million. There’s a couple people who are making over $3 million. The point is that they are getting underpaid — Vince McMahon thinks they’re overpaid.”

Now you also know why the company likes to book Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar against each other on several occasions. They previously featured in several PPV matches and that feud is going in even in 2021. Going by the rumors, these two superstars might just face each other in another rematch at Wrestlemania 38. But some of the youngsters should receive the spotlight instead of these two.
WWE continues to boast excellent financial reports every quarter while they are also releasing superstars at the highest rate, possible. So except for the likes of Brock Lesnar and their franchise player, the other top superstars should receive some monetary benefits. Given the company’s grueling traveling schedule, it’s something that they deserve genuinely.
