Daniel Bryan is one of the most talented wrestlers of professional wrestling who became a worldwide famous name during his WWE tenure. Unfortunately for the company, he opted to get rid of his previous contract and leave the brand to join the rival company, All Elite Wrestling in order to receive some fresh competition. But there’s still hope that he would be back in his home of WWE, one day.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Daniel Bryan’s contract status was known among those calling the shots, backstage. The possibility of Bryan winning the 2021 Royal Rumble match was never discussed in opposition to the earlier reports. In addition, he was never discussed to be around the WrestleMania 37 main event in the early planning phase.

Daniel Bryan is on good terms with the WWE

The extremely professional behavior and the fact that he never bashed WWE after moving to the AEW promotion, are two of the reasons why Daniel Bryan is being speculated to be back in the WWE once his time with AEW is over,

“WWE sources tell us they were well aware that his deal was coming up soon when that was booked, and spoke highly of Bryan Danielson’s professionalism in working with Roman Reigns and making their match as good as possible on the way out. One source said that “Bryan handled things so well that a lot of people didn’t think he was actually leaving or taking any time off. We couldn’t have asked for more.”

As you can see, Daniel Bryan left the WWE on “very good terms” and there are some positive expectations around him to re-join the Vince McMahon’s company, down the road. The fact that his wife Brie Bella is a WWE-lifer might also act as an inducer in that return. But for now, the veteran will continue to enjoy his stint in AEW and give his best to the Tony Khan-owned promotion.
