Finn Balor has recently gone through a reformation on NXT that was much-needed for his down-going career. He turned heel to suck the attention towards him which must earn him bigger accolades on WWE’s third brand, moving forward.
At present, he is likely to bring his A-game at Survivor Series PPV event set for November 24th. But before that, he noted some significant aspects of his career.
The ‘extraordinary man who can do extraordinary things’ recently appeared WWE’s After The Bell podcast to talk about his journey in the company.
Many believe that WWE could have used Finn Balor in the most significant way when he entered the big league back in 2016. In fact, they started doing so until a shoulder injury appeared to be the roadblock.

Since then, Finn Balor has not down anything significant on the main roster. The creative team surely considered him to be a special talent but did not give him a push to the main event spotlight.

“I wouldn’t change anything because I learned so much. It’s almost like a growing process. You have to go through those growing pains to get to where I am now.”
And everyone’s been through those times in their career, and everybody’s been through sh*tty times in their lives.
And I don’t want to say it was a sh*tty time but it was a time that looking back now, I learned more than anything on those three years on RAW and SmackDown.”
The former Intercontinental Champion then noted saying that he still has much time left in him as an active in-ring competitor. Finn Balor believes he can continue for eight more years as a WWE wrestler,
So, I wouldn’t necessarily change anything but I learned a lot from it and I can take that forward. I’ve still got another, I believe, like 8 years left in me. Not a lot of people have been fortunate enough to have done what I’ve done so fast.
“And people always think, ‘Hey, this guy has been around here forever.’ I was like a year on the main roster and had like four matches because I had gotten hurt.
So, I come back and I’m still learning to hit times, do segments, understand what break spots are on live TV, and it’s my fourth match. But people are like, ‘This guy’s established, this guy’s been around.’”
He has been wrestling in the European and Japan circuit for a long time before landing on NXT, earlier this decade. His success rate in the black and yellow brand was much higher than compared to the main roster.
However, it was just after four matches that he suffered a career-threatening injury. Or else, he pinned Roman Reigns clean in his first night on Raw which was a bigger accolade, itself.
