Coming out Night of Champions 2023 premium live event, we had a new WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka and a new World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Both of them should have been residing on Raw but interestingly, Asuka is on Smackdown and she’s still holding the red brand women’s gold. There are no current updates on whether WWE plans on swiping the belts held by her and the Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley on Raw.

In the meantime, WWE head honcho Triple H has promoted the new Raw Women’s Champion Asuka with the following tweet,

“More dangerous than ever. Are you ready for Asuka?”

Now, the question is what could be waiting for the new Raw Women’s Champion once she arrives on Smackdown, tonight to begin her title reign. Going by the speculations, a queen could be waiting to go after her, trying to possibly reclaim her throne.

The Empress of Tomorrow tweeted the following about her victory, “Thank you all. Champion belts are an essential part of my fashion ⭐”

Charlotte Flair going after the Raw Women’s Champion?

In reply to this tweet, Charlotte Flair posted a joker and crown emoji which was an indication that she could be coming after the title. The former champion is out of the WWE picture for sometimes but she is being advertised to return to WWE programming within Summerslam 2023.

The former six-time Raw Women’s Champion was last seen at Wrestlemania 39. On that night, she dropped the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley to go into a hiatus. The time off was probably needed as she was set to participate in some sort of bodybuilding competition.

Plans For Raw Women’s Champion Asuka Heading Into June 2 WWE Smackdown Episode 2

In the meantime, after remaining the Raw Women’s Champion for 420 days as champion, Bianca Belair was dethroned at WWE Night of Champions 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by Asuka. The championship finally changed hands in the third match between the two. Asuka used her green mist to ensure that she could defeat The EST of the WWE. The storyline perspective does suggest that Belair will still be gunning for Asuka to reclaim her title on Smackdown.

As of this writing, there’s no confirmation on whether another Belair vs. Asuka Raw Women’s Championship is planned for the future or Charlotte Flair’s return is imminent as she goes straight after the Raw Women’s Champion.
