Also, Vince McMahon’s daughter and co-CEO of the company, Stephanie McMahon has also stepped down from her position, leaving Nick Khan as the only CEO while Triple H retains his position as the Chief Content Officer. However, his father-in-law still intends to gain back control in this position to control things on WWE TV which could be the reason that he might decide to sell the WWE to Saudi Arabia, after all.

Recent reports emerged on social media that Vince McMahon might be looking forward to selling the company to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and this news was trending all over social media over the span of the past 24 hours. Since then the reports of a potential deal have been shot down, which caused a fall in the company’s stock price.

Vince McMahon wants to keep his control on WWE despite a sale
However, Saudi Arabia’s interest in the WWE is well-known, considering how much they have been paying for the promotion to hold a 10-year deal intact. While nothing has been confirmed yet, Fightful Select is reporting that there is a fear within the company that Vince might still consider selling the company to the Saudis to get back creative control.
“A prevailing fear is that Vince McMahon will try to work his way back into creative with a sale, and Saudis being the only entity that would possibly allow that to happen.”
Vince McMahon doesn’t want WWE controls to let go
It’s a known thing how much Vince McMahon loves his empire and hence, he would go to a hell-bent extent to retain his powers over his kingdom. Regaining creative control of the company is the brightest that he could expect at his age and out of all the potential buyers, Saudi Arabia seems to be the only option to let him have that power back. Hence, we just can’t wipe out the Saudis from the equation.
