As reported earlier, ex-WWE journalist Renee Young was more than ready to fight Bayley while debuting in WWE’s in-ring capacity. Unfortunately, Renee no longer works for the company but she isn’t backing down from the pledge that she made last month.
Even Bayley wants to face Renee Young in the RAW Underground setting after the suggestion was passed by CM Punk in a video conference during WWE Watch Along. It now turns out that her opponent is also willing to lace up the boots is the authority is ready.

Renee Young Wants To Return To WWE To Fight Bayley On Raw Underground

During her appearance on WWE’s The Bump on Youtube, Renee Young had a chance to talk about her time with the company. They played a video package where plenty of her coworkers expressed their grief on her departure. They said they’ll be missing the veteran journalist.
Bayley featured in that goodbye package that aired for Renee Young. The Smackdown Women’s Champion still wanted to face her during RAW Underground and she even recorded her video while in the RAW Underground ring. Later on, Renee tweeted out on that promo saying she’s still game to make a return for a one-off night, particularly for this fight,
“I will return for this. An exclusive engagement where I slap the bob right off her cute little head!”

Renee Young isn’t a trained wrestler or fighter and she never been involved in a fight in her eight-year WWE career. Even WWE won’t allow her to come back and feature in this fight and so she was totally joking. Although, it’s certain that if this match gets booked, it’d garner tons of interest for RAW Underground.

Renee Young didn’t love the fact how Bayley every time wanted to get under her skin during interviews as the latter has been portraying a heel persona for sometimes, now. This is the reason why the idea of this match came about. On a serious note, Renee noted how she loved to interview the heel superstars. She particular named Samoa Joe who used to throw one-liners to instigate her during those past interviews,
“There was a time when Joe was doing a program with my husband and he would say things about Jon and that was a time when I would always be like… I’m trying to be professional on camera because that’s my role on camera, but everyone knows that Jon and I are married so I have to get that little undertone and I’m like ‘how dare you say that about my husband.’ It was fun having those moments. I’d say those are some of my favorite moments as far as interviews go.” (Transcription by Ringside News)
