WWE planned an unconventional team between Nikki Cross ASH and Rhea Ripley, earlier this year. Initially, they didn’t seem to have any bond, together as they are two totally different characters. But then the alliance proved to be quite successful as they are still undefeated. Moreover, the team has also managed to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Earlier this year, Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross ASH were rivals as both competed for the RAW WOmen’s Championship for several months in a storyline that also had Charlotte Flair in it. Then Flair captured the title at Summerslam. Since then, they put their differences aside and became a tag team. The quick bond allowed them to defeat Natalya and Tamina Snuka for the tag titles.

Rhea Ripley is currently fond of Nikki ASH

“At first I was a little bit standoffish. But she is growing on me. She is such a good person, warm-hearted and positive. Sometimes you just need someone like that behind you, especially when you’re someone like me who just goes out there and brutalizes people. Sometimes I need to calm down a little bit, so I’m glad to have Nikki by my side. To be honest, I’m having the time of my life right now in this tag team. It’s a lot of fun,” Rhea Ripley stated.

Rhea Ripley Was A “Little Bit Standoffish” About Her Team With Nikki ASH In WWE 2

As seen at Wrestlemania 37 Night Two, Rhea Ripley competed in the first match as an official member of the main roster. She would go on to defeat Asuka to win the RAW Women’s Championship, on that night. Since then, she has been a primary fixture of the Monday Night RAW scene. The good thing is that even Vince McMahon is a fan of her work which indicates that a bright future is waiting for her.

That being said, Rhea Ripley is always a fan of singles competition but for now, she is enjoying this tag team run with Nikki. There’s always a time for change and she believes to be sunk in the current moment.
