Rob Van Dam has officially been married for the second time in his life. As seen via social media content, the WWE Hall of Famer has tied the knot, a couple of nights ago with girlfriend Katie Forbes. The ceremony was a private affair with only near and dear ones in attendance.
Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes were married on Thursday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Going by their carefree life, the couple was happy to exchange the vows in a Vegas-styles wedding. Earlier this year, in February, the two got were engaged after being together for a few years.
Former WWE stars Karrion Kross and Scarlet Bordeaux were among the familiar faces in attendance at the rooftop ceremony that took place in the Sin City. Also, former WWE Superstar Candice Michelle apparently officiated the whole ceremony. The newly become bride Katie shared a number of photos on her Twitter account while Scarlett also shared some snaps via her Instagram stories.

Following his 2019 return in Impact Wrestling, Rob Van Dam turned heel for the first time in his career and received Katie Forbes as his arm-candy. The two had shown their raw chemistry with each other on TV and even after in the indie scene, even after their contract with the company expired.

Rob Van Dam married Sonia Delbeck on September 6, 1998. The first marriage of WWE Universe’s beloved RVD, ended in December 2015. In July 2016, Delbeck filed for divorce from the superstar. The divorce was finalized two years later. Starting in 2016, RVD was dating fellow professional wrestler Katie Forbes.
During a recent edition of ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’, the former Mr. Monday Night Rob Van Dam revealed that social media played a huge part in his 2019 character change in IMPACT Wrestling (fka TNA). It appears that the show writers were influenced by the couple’s chemistry and decided to bring those vibes on TV.
“I have definitely [been] showcasing since Katie Forbes, you know, for sure. And she’s a party girl, you know, she’s fun, and she’s awesome. We went on a Cardi B cruise, Katie loves Cardi B, which, if you’ve ever seen a Cardi B video and seen anything that Katie posts, then you shouldn’t be surprised.
