After a hiatus since the 36th edition of Wrestlemania, he was back donning a heel persona that helped him to win the Universal Championship within a gap of just one week. It’s safe to say that this title run has been the very best for him which in turn cemented his top spot in the company. He’s in a position of demanding anything he wants from the officials and apparently, he’s also getting it.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed a rather extraordinary fact as Roman Reigns doesn’t intend to appear anywhere on a show’s card except for the first or last one. It’s really very much interesting when he opens and closes out a show to make the fullest impact on the crowd as well as on the Smackdown roster.
“You put the most important first or last. That’s the big argument right now with Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns will either go first or last. He won’t go anywhere else, that’s a shoot. He doesn’t want to go [anywhere] but first, because that’s okay or last, which is preferable because he’s the main event and he doesn’t want to go second or fourth or second from the top.”

Roman Reigns’ placement on SmackDown or WWE’s pay-per-views now makes sense. This is why he has been on so many main event matches racked up since the return last summer after straight-up refusing to work anywhere else on the card.
Another such marquee match is expected from Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell when he faces Rey Mysterio over the Universal Championship, as per the recent updates. The first-ever singles contest between these two was set up on the June 4 episode of Smackdown.
