ToggleThe part-time schedule of Roman Reigns has not been pleasant news for the WWE and its global fanbase given he’s the top-most superstar of the roster. The limited appearances and title defenses did make him a must-see attraction just like back in the days Brock Lesnar used to be. But similarly, he’s also hijacked the top world title with him.
The good news is that Roman Reigns’ hiatus isn’t beginning, soon and we do expect him to make a lot of appearances around the 2023 summer. He was featured in a tag team title match at Night of Champions teaming with Solo Sikoa instead of defending his undisputed title. Now, he’s also set to headline two bigger events waiting in the summer.

Money in the Bank is scheduled from the O2 Arena in London, England on July 1 which is going to be an international event. Summerslam 2023 is scheduled from the Detroit Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on August 5. Being a stadium show, the biggest event of the summer will require the top names to sell it out and Roman Reigns’ presence seems essential on the card.
WWE Summerslam 2023 Already Broke Record From Non-Wrestlemania Stadium Perspective
Roman Reigns officially advertised for WWE’s UK visit
It’s worth noting that Roman Reigns was previously taken off the advertising for Money in the Bank, but he is expected to be part of the show as he’s been put back on the official page of the event. Apart from an appearance at the WWE’s upcoming UK PLE, he will also attend the go-home SmackDown edition of the PLE, the night prior which is also taking place in the O2 Arena in London.
Last year, Roman Reigns headlined WWE’s UK PLE, defeating Drew McIntyre in the Clash At The Castle at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Speculations have that Money in the Bank could also have him as the headliner. The Tribal Chief hasn’t defended his undisputed title since Wrestlemania 39 and the UK PLE should be the place for his next title defense.
