For the first time ever, Ronda Rousey will step her foot on WWE Smackdown during this week’s episode. The post-Royal Rumble edition of the show will take place at the Paycom Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and the UFC Hall of Famer is confirmed to make her presence felt on the show for the first time ever.
This week’s show-closing segment on the post-Royal Rumble edition of RAW saw Ronda Rousey make her return to WWE’s weekly programming for the first time in nearly three years. She was there to celebrate her Women’s Royal Rumble win from this past Saturday and possibly to spell out her Wrestlemania opponent’s name.
Ronda Rousey talked about trying to decide if she should challenge RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch or SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at The Grandest Stage of Them All. She took some more shots at Lynch while noting that she has unfinished business with both Lynch and Flair.

Ronda Rousey was then interrupted by Lynch, who came to the ring and emphasized that Rousey should name Lynch as her opponent. Becky also pointed out how she’s the only one to pin Rousey in her entire WWE career during the Winner Takes All main event back at Wrestlemania 35.
Rousey instead took Lynch down with a judo throw. She got the mic from her, held her down by her arm, and stated that she will give her answer during this Friday’s SmackDown on FOX. Afterward, WWE also confirmed that the Road to Wrestlemania will heat up this Friday Night with The UFC Hall of Famer on the card.
Becky retained her title over Doudrop at the Royal Rumble and there’s been no information on who her WrestleMania challenger would be. Belair has been speculated to be her opponent who entered the 30-Woman Rumble Match at the number-8 spot and was the 27th elimination, tossed out by Flair.
While Ronda Rousey is booked for Smackdown, Becky is booked for her next title defense at Elimination Chamber. WWE Hall of Famer Lita challenged the champion to a match at the upcoming PPV event which was accepted. Afterward, WWE also officially advertised the match for the event set from Saudi Arabia.
