Ronda Rousey hasn’t been seen in the WWE since WrestleMania 35. The only time she was seen on WWE TV was through Total Divas during the last season that aired in 2019. Since then, there have been rumors of her return but then the coronavirus pandemic hit and she had no intentions either to come out of quarantine from Browsey Acres situated in downtown California.
Now it seems there are some real doubts whether Ronda Rousey would ever return to WWE or not as her deal with the WWE will be running out, soon. If a return to the ring doesn’t happen, sooner than later, then WWE might lose one of their marquee names from the female roster, forever. If the recent ongoings are any hint then her WWE deal expires in early 2020.

According to the reports of TMZ, a statement from WWE after the former champion’s hiatus started is indicating the current situation with her contract. It seems that the deal will be up in just six months. Below is the statement, “Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she wants to start a family is a private matter.”

It is still possible that WWE could bring Ronda Rousey back for a run through WrestleMania 37. Previously, the ‘show of shows’ had been scheduled to go down at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. But the current mindset is that WrestleMania 37 will go to Tampa, Florida instead to make up for the 36th edition from this year.
Ronda Rousey had a golden opportunity to compete in her final match in the WWE in her home state of California but that won’t be the case, now. But the rumor mill still suggests that she could be back after she was spotted training with Roddy Piper’s daughter Teal Piper. Only the future can tell whether she was planning for a return or just having some fun inside the squared circle.
Natalya also recently teased that she was training with a mystery person that could be Ronda Rousey but that’s not confirmed, as of now. We can only hope that The Baddest Woman On The Planet isn’t fully done with her WWE career. Recently, she was playing the newly released WWE 2K Battlegrounds game on her Facebook page and she ended up taking a shot at Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins, trying to renew a rivalry. This came as a response as WWE gave her the same 92 ratings as Lynch.
