Royal Rumble 2022 turned out to be a major success for the WWE which was the second WWE Network Specials event of this year. Two former UFC competitors ended up becoming the Rumble winners who will now go on to Wrestlemania 38 for main-event matches.
Now, WWE.com has offered 94 photos of the bygone Premium Live Event which brought out the intensities of the WWE Superstars. As seen in some of those, behind-the-scenes shots of top stars like Edge, Ronda Rousey, WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and more were captured from Royal Rumble 2022.

The Bella Twins obviously gained some attention, like they always do during an appearance in WWE. Nikki Bella was spotted with Kofi Kingston as the two discussed the changes in lives during parenthood. WWE’s YouTube channel also shared a video featuring the two of that moment. Brie Bella’s daughter, Birdie was also present, backstage during Royal Rumble 2022.

And so was another former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool’s daughter. She had a special request to Vince McMahon to allow her and The Undertakers daughter Kaia to accompany her during the entrance.
That was allowed but the camera never captured that moment. She was also seen in a spot with The Undertaker as he was assisting their daughter as she walked along the top rope. All the backstage images from the event can be found at this link.
Royal Rumble 2022 was a major success for WWE
It’s been noted that WWE Royal Rumble 2022 had a local economic impact of $8.3 million in revenue “supporting the jobs of thousands of hospitality professionals throughout the region.” The event also helped in booking 11,000 hotel room stays in the area.
Also as noted above, Royal Rumble 2022 featured a number of memorable moments including the return of former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey who was the women’s Rumble. Brock Lesnar – Roman Reigns saga continued as Reigns cost Lesnar his WWE Title but then Lesnar won the Men’s Rumble to get back to the title picture.
However, there were several backstage issues for Royal Rumble 2022, as well. Legendary wrestler and producer Fit Finlay was brought in to work the Women’s Rumble in the absence of Tyson Kidd which created some major chaos.
