Saraya has become a pioneer in pro wrestling as a female performer over the past decade or so. After accomplishing so much in the WWE, she was forced to call it a quit from in-ring competition but her willpower led her back into the squared circle under the AEW banner where she went on to become a champion, earlier this year.
In her native land of the United Kingdom, Saraya achieved the accolade of becoming the AEW Women’s Champion, but since dropping the belt, she has some other plans. Apart from being a wrestler, the UK native loves to be a fashionista. In the past couple of years, she dressed up to get quite the attention, especially for the Halloween occasion. The same tradition followed this year, too.
Saraya took to her Instagram account and uploaded a few photos of herself, dressing up as Angelina Jolie from Girl Interrupted movie for the 2023 Halloween. “Happy Halloween!!! Any guesses who I am?!” was the caption of the photos shared by the AEW star.

Jolie played the character of Rowe in the film, based on a true story. Her performance in the flick also earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Apart from Saraya, AEW wrestler Danhausen dressed as Barbie, Ethan Page dressed as the Super Mario Bros villain, Bowser, “Timeless” Toni Storm dressed as classic Hollywood as the Bride of Frankenstein, while the real-life couple Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo dressed up as characters that drew inspiration from the “Monster Inc” movie series.

Saraya lost the AEW Women’s title to Hikaru Shida
In one of the marquee matches of the AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday special episode in early October, Hikaru Shida defeated Saraya to become the new and the first-ever three-time AEW Women’s World Champion in history. She had to overcome the odds including interference from The Outcasts’ partner Ruby Soho in order to pick up the win.
Since losing that belt, Saraya has not been in the AEW ring. She won the title on August 27, when she defeated Shida, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and Storm at the All In pay-per-view in London, England’s Wembley Stadium. In order for her to get into the title match scene at All In, she had to defeat Skye Blue in a qualifier in the summer.
