The Fiend Bray Wyatt is on a hiatus from WWE TV for the time being after going through a hellacious experience at the bygone TLC pay-per-view event. His opponent Randy Orton set him ablaze in an angle that was done to keep the demonic character off the TV. But he’s quietly gearing up for a comeback and it would be a shocking one, by all means.

As seen in their TLC match, The Fiend dropped Randy Orton with a big Uranage before snapping his neck. He lit the ax-handle on fire but Orton avoided a shot with it and decked him. Orton then hit the ring-draping DDT from the apron on the floor. Fiend blocked the RKO and applied the Mandible Claw. Orton then pushed his opponent into the fire to win the match. As per the rule, The Fiend’s jacket and pants went on fire as he lost the match.

After the match, Randy Orton got back in the ring and The Fiend ran down after him, only to get dropped by an RKO. Orton then poured gasoline all over the Fiend and threw a match-stick on him, causing The Fiend’s entire body to go up in flames. It burnt down as his opponent as Orton did his trademark pose to send TLC 2020 off the air.

Spoiler On The Fiend Bray Wyatt’s WWE Return

Now, WWFOldSchool has been told that the current plan is for The Fiend Bray Wyatt to make his return at Royal Rumble 2021, during the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He will obviously be focused on taking out Orton. This should be a surprise entrance during the Rumble Match if not WWE gives Fiend an official entry.

Furthermore, The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton are expected to take themselves out of the match focusing on their angle, instead of winning the Rumble match. Both of them, might not have an official elimination from the match and thus their strong characters on Raw will also be protected. Currently, the plan for Orton is to continue his feud with Edge next year, while this ongoing storyline with Fiend should also roll through.

As indicated on the post-TLC edition of Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss told Orton that The Fiend Bray Wyatt will come back to her playground anytime, and if he does, it’ll be like nothing Orton has seen before. Wyatt himself posted a tweet following the TLC event hinting that a return is coming but that will happen with a set of changes. We’ll have to wait and see how WWE arranges the same.
