WWE News: The Fiend Attacked Former Champion On Smackdown Dark Segment 1

The Fiend Bray Wyatt is one of the newest imports on the SmackDown roster following the WWE Draft. Fans watching on TV must have been disappointed for not seeing him on the televised episode aired on FOX, last night. But that was not the case for the fans in attendance at the host venue. They got to see the superstar who holds the most popular gimmick of this time live in attendance. He appeared in a dark segment following the show. Who became new contender for Bayley?

Mysterio and Velasquez to team up in Mexico

As per the reports from wrestlingINC.com, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt made a special appearance by the end of Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown and 205 Live tapings from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. A main event match was in-store once SmackDown went off the air featuring The Miz and Cesaro.  The latter name face connected with the Cesaro Swing after around 20 spins, and then set The Miz up for the Neutralizer.

It was then when The Fiend Bray Wyatt came out in the middle of the match. He took out Cesaro with the Mandible Claw while taunting The Miz. The source noted that an earlier off-camera segment during the SmackDown broadcast set up this sudden appearance by the demonic character. He beamed upon the tron to face The Miz and send a message that gave the fans hint of his future appearance.

Here’s some additional note from wrestlinngINC.com regarding The Fiend popping up during SmackDown dark segment,

“Our correspondent noted that because of the post-MizTV threat from The Fiend to The Miz, there was chatter in the crowd all night about how Wyatt would likely be appearing for the dark main event. Despite crowd speculation on The Fiend appearing at the end of the show, our correspondent noted that many fans left the arena after SmackDown went off the air before 205 Live even ended.”

This is the second time The Fiend Bray Wyatt has attacked The Swiss Cyborg. Wyatt and Cesaro were also involved following the post-RAW segment where Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman created a ruckus forcing the entire roster to show up to stop them.
