Willing to go to desperate measures to be the World Heavyweight Champion through his heel persona, Edge made the fans believe that the title would mean everything to him and to whoever that’s carrying the title.
Between 2007 and 2011, Edge won the world title for a record seven times, the maximum number of occasions in the history of WWE. The overall 11-time champion in WWE’s history retired in 2011 at Wrestlemania 27 while being the World Heavyweight Champion and fittingly enough, he never dropped that belt.
