One of the most trusted shoulders in the history of the WWE is Triple H. Starting from the 90s, this man has been in uncountable main event matches on PPV events, Raw or SmackDown. Even after transitioning into the EVP of Talent Relations, WWE needed his support as an in-ring talent who could deliver on big occasions.
Whenever occasions like WrestleMania or Saudi Arabia pay-per-view events come around, Triple H gets the call to feature in a match since he’s been a marquee name in the company. It’s certain that the company could need his services, whenever required and that is the only reason why he might have not announced retirement from the competition.

Triple H Reveals Reason Why He Didn’t Announce Retirement From WWE
During a recent interview on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Triple H was asked about his in-ring retirement status. The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned the same reason that we’ve mentioned. He said that he’s waiting for the right time, as a situation could come up in the future where he’d be required to do “one more match”,
“Right now, zero. I just feel like there’s a moment where you go, ‘I’m retired’, but you’re not. I’d rather just not say it and if the right opportunity comes up that everybody believes is right, and I believe I can do it without it falling apart, me or the match, then okay, I would consider it.
I am not at a point where I would say, ‘Absolutely not, under any circumstances, but probably not that far off.’ The thing for me that’s good is I’m so transitioned over and satisfied with the other aspects of my career and my life and everything else, I get as much fun and excitement out of watching others do it and succeed at it.”
Triple H is a fourteen-time world champion in WWE history who stands only after John Cena and Ric Flair in terms of those title reign counts. Even these two names don’t have the illustrious record that he possesses. Being a King of the Ring, Royal Rumble winners, this man has literally done it all and has no further boundaries to shatter.
The last time we witnessed Triple H in action was at the Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia back in June 2019. On that night, he digested a clean pinfall loss at the hands of Randy Orton. Moving on, he missed WrestleMania for the first time in 13 years, earlier this year as there was no storyline reserved for him at the 36th edition.
