It’s a fact that Vince McMahon relies on The Undertaker, a lot. Whenever he’s in panic mode, the trusted shoulder is being called to the programming to drag up the fallen ratings.

When would Brock Lesnar return to TV?

There’s still no better surprise available on TV than The Deadman who gives us goosebumps with each of his appearances. The man behind the role understands it pretty well but he never denied the reality.

Why didn’t The Undertaker leave WWE after WM30?

The Undertaker has talked about his relationship with Vince McMahon. He gave an in-depth look at their friendship with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin who hosted the first episode of the new WWE Network special show, Broken Skull Sessions.

The main thing he emphasized during the conversation was his loyalty to Vince McMahon that never changed.

Speaking with Austin, The Undertaker stated that previously his relation with The Boss would have been strictly professional. However, over the years, they share the same passion and they have become good friends.

He has always admitted the fact that Vince McMahon gave him the opportunity and for that he’d always be grateful,

“[The Undertaker character] was originally his creative vision, but he gave me a lot of creative liberty with it. He trusted me when I felt like I needed to turn into the American Bad Ass.

He obviously must have felt it too. We’ve butted heads and things have been rough, but at the end of the day, our passion is the same. We want to put out the best product possible.” (courtesy sescoops.com)

The conversation with Austin continued as The Undertaker admitted being a locker room leader. With the amount of experience he brings alongside him, this kind of role has “just kind of happened.”

He made good use of it to achieve the trust of Vince McMahon. Also, it was the loyalty towards WWE which forced him not to leave the company, ever,

“I never forgot who gave me my first opportunity, and that was Vince. It’s probably not the most sound business decision,” Undertaker said, “but that’s who I am and if that ship went down I was going to go down with him. But I knew eventually it would turn.”
