What To Expect From This Week’s WWE Raw: March 19, 2018

Last week, WWE Raw suffered a major hiccup in the form of a fan backlash after the show failed to deliver. The fans were not visibly happy with the big names being absent from the show. This week should have some big arrangements. A blockbuster never-before-seen main event will be hosted at the Hardy Compound in the main event match.

After much controversy, the Universal Champion should be back on WWE Raw after quite sometimes. Also, the undefeated streak of the Empress of Tomorrow will be on the line against the WWE Raw women’s champion. The GM of the show is set to make an announcement with the tag titles. All of these are set to happen at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

For the first time, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt will engage in a battle that has been named, the Ultimate Deletion. This is a dream match for the fans which would finally be delivered. Already the match has been taped from North Carolina where the Hardy Compound is situated. This will be aired on tonight’s WWE Raw to give us a unique experience.

WWE promised to bring all the members of the Hardy Family to the mix,

“This contest promises to challenge everything we know about combat, both physically and psychologically, as The Woken One’s own family — including Queen Rebecca, King Maxel, Lord Wolfgang, Senor Benjamin and his drone, Vanguard 1 — bears witness to the mind-bending confrontation.”

Last week, Vince McMahon promised that Brock Lesnar will finally return to the flagship show after a long hiatus. The appearance is still not confirmed and we may not see the champion live in person, on the show. Rather, he might decide to appear in a taped segment or via satellite with a message to his challenger. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns’ status will also be addressed who is now suspended from the show.

A Wrestlemania-caliber match would be hosted between Asuka and Alexa Bliss. The contest should be quite exciting but not likely to bring an outcome due to the presence of Nia Jax. The Samoan Superstar was disrespected by her best friend, last week and she would be looking for a revenge. This should set up the title match at Wrestlemania between Nia and Alexa.

Considering that the show is getting hosted from Dallas, Texas, chances are there that we might see The Undertaker on the show. This is his home-state where the anticipation is that the Wrestlemania challenge laid down by John Cena will finally be addressed. The dream match should finally be confirmed.

Kurt Angle would have a tough task at hand while deciding Braun Strowman’s fate as he is now the number one contender for the WWE Raw tag team championships. The chances are that the GM would find a new partner for the monster among men. Elias is the most likely person to team up with the behemoth name and challenge for the title at Wrestlemania.
